Perseid meteors, photographies caught on August 11, 2016 – 2016, in the night from August 11 to August 12, an outburst of Perseid meteors was expected.

We decided to hike on Zwiesel (1.348 m), a small mountain top near Bad Tölz & Lenggries in Upper Bavaria, providing a fantastic view over Bavarian mountains, especially the Benediktenwand.

The conditions were quite bad, upcoming bad weather, a pretty hard and cold wind was blowing, clouds, clear sky only in small windows, gibbous moon – however, we caught some great shoots and could admire some very spectacular Perseid meteors.
