Wieskirche – a pilgrimage church in Upper Bavaria, Germany, situated in the so called “Bavarian Pfaffenwinkel“. The complete name of the Wieskirche is “Wallfahrtskirche zum Gegeißelten Heiland auf der Wies“.
The Bavarian rococo church was build in the 18th century by the the brothers Dominikus and Johann Baptist Zimmermann. The Wieskirche is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1983.
